The beginning of the good news about Jesus Christ, God’s Son, 2 happened just as it was written about in the prophecy of Isaiah:

Let's get started by saying that this is the good news of God's Son -- Jesus, who is the Messiah. The story happened in just the way that the prophet Isaiah had predicted in Isaiah 40:3 (as well as Malachi 3:1 and Exodus 23:20) when he envisioned a loud God-sent prophet in the wilderness shouting: "Get things ready, prepare the roadway. The Lord is coming!"
