Romans 13:11-14

We live in a crazy and hectic world so don’t lose track of the time. Wake up! The future is rapidly encroaching on the present. The day of salvation is about to dawn. It’s way closer now than it was when we first started to believe in Jesus. 12 The darkness of the night is about to expire and dawn’s light is about to appear on the horizon. So let’s start acting as though it were daylight. Strip off anything that happens under the cover of darkness and strap on the weapons of light. 13 Let’s live properly -- as people native to the happenings of daylight. Skip the wild parties, unbridled drinking, casual approach to sex, vulgarity, bickering, and jealousy. 14 Instead, dress yourself from head to toe with the Lord Jesus Christ, so that your selfish desires will remain in check.
